Tuesday Feb. 28th is the Last Shadow Day for the year at the High School.  They will not accommodate any Indian Hill student to shadow after that day.  High School schedules are too chaotic until the end of the year.

Band/Orchestra Pancake Breakfast:  Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 4th.  The cost for breakfast is $10 per person or $30 for a family pass.  Tickets are available early on EZ Pay.  The Band and Orchestra will play from 8:30 to 12:00.   If you simply want to enjoy the wonderful sounds of music, you can do so completely free of charge!  

Mrs. Monahan’s 8th grade art students are focusing on "The Memory Project Making a difference in a child's life through art." Our BRAVES are painting portraits for Ukrainian children facing adversity, and their artwork is beyond impressive.  Click to access the news article.

Scheduling:  It is hard to believe that it is time to begin planning for the 2017-2018 school year!  Today, February 21, students received their scheduling information and registration forms for Encore classes next year. Below is a link for each course description that will assist you with choosing.  

 IHMS Elective and World Language Course Descriptions 2017-2018

  • Tuesday, February 21: Registration forms and scheduling letters will come home with your child. 
  • Friday, February 24: All registration forms are due.
  • February 27 - March 3: Students will complete online scheduling registration during the school day.
  • Monday, March 10: Course registration confirmation forms will be sent home for students and parents to review, sign and return.
  • Friday, March 15: Course registration confirmation forms are to be returned to your child's English teacher.

**NOTE- This year, all elective course changes will need to be completed with your student's counselor by May 19.  We will not make additional changes to these courses after this date.  Questions should be directed to the counselors, Nick.Carpenter@indianhillschools.org or Kathryn.Yeager@indianhillschools.org  or via phone at 272-4642.

Are you helpful, fun, and want to better your school?  Be a Navig8or!  If you are interested in applying to be a Navig8or the applications will be available in the office Wednesday, March 1, 2017.  They should be completed and turned back into the office by Friday, March 24, 2017.  No late applications will be accepted.

Attention 7th & 8th Grade Boys interested in playing Middle School Tennis:  If you are interested in playing middle school tennis for the Braves, please register online at www.ihbraves.org  -  Also, you will need a current sports physical on file in the high school athletic department. The physical form can be printed off during the online registration process. All physicals need to be turned in to the athletic department prior to the first day of practice which is March. 6th.  If you have any questions, contact Coach Steve Pritz at spritz1@cinci.rr.com   See you on the courts!

The Indian Hill Middle School Gives Back team is sponsoring MARCH SHOE MADNESS!  We will be collecting gently used shoes and socks to benefit the free clothing closets in the Oyler and Rees E. Price schools, both located in Price Hill.   The students at these schools desperately need the basics, so they can not only focus on school, but so they can just be kids.   The drive will run from March 15-21.

As a community service project, eighth grade students, Lauren Sewell, and Abby Campa, will be reintroducing the program through the Indian Hill School district of collecting Pull Tabs to donate to Cincinnati's Ronald McDonald House.   Students can bring tabs to school and deposit them into the new Ronald McDonald Pull Tab Collection House located in the lobby.  Pull tabs are recycled to earn money to help provide all the comforts of "home" to families of critically ill children.

Reminder:  The STEP Program is still offered at the Middle School every Wednesday and Thursday after school from 2:45 - 3:45. Students are to report to the Media Center immediately after the bell to receive help in homework or problem areas from all classes. Students are able to ride a late bus home or be picked up by a parent. 
   
Yearbooks
